A Contest from the Canadian Stampin' Up! Office!

Big Shot Selling Contest
Demonstrators who sell a Big Shot in August will have their name entered into a draw to win any FrameLit of their choice from the Annual 2013-14 Catalogue or Fall Catalogue.  The demonstrator who sells the most Big Shots in August will win 3 new FrameLits of their choice.  Contest rules shown below.

‘Hit Me With The Big Shot’ is a fun one minute video made by five Canadians that won first prize in the annual Stampin’ Up! ad contest.
Use this link to view the video.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7B0Be9yOlkQ
Share the fun!  Send the link to your customers and all your friends - even if they don’t stamp.  And congratulations to Amy Jasper, Desirée Spenst, Tamara Casorso, Jill Buehler, and Amanda Turner in Kelowna, BC.  Canadian demonstrators rock!

Big Shot Contest Rules
1.  This contest is open to all Canadian demonstrators
2.  The contest period is August 1st to 31st, 2013.
3.  One Grand Prize of 3 Framelits will be awarded to the Canadian demonstrator who sells the most Big Shots in August.  In the event of a tie, a name will be drawn at random from the demonstrators who tied in order to decide the winner of the Grand Prize.
4.  Any demonstrator who sells a Big Shot in August will have a chance to be one of the five names drawn to win the Secondary Prize of a Framelit of their choice.

Here are some Big Shot selling tips.

The gals love the shapes and textures that it adds. Tools are awesome that way. You can invest in a good tool and it will last you forever.  Julie Leblanc, Guelph, ON

I only sell it when I show it in person and they try it...hands on.  Jen Tinline, Burlington, ON

Offer a special that evening if they buy the big shot - perhaps a free embossing folder. I also encourage them to step up their order to $200 to get the hostess gifts and extra SAB products. That way they can start off with the Big Shot plus extra dies and folders to use right away.  Kay Smith, St Johns, NL

For me the Big Shot is all about saving time and creating exclusive and perfect cuts!  Many of my clients don't have the patience nor the ability to do so.  Mélanie Larouche, Riviere Du Loup, QC

All I have to do is use it at a class or workshop and then everyone has to have one.  I think I’ve sold almost 100 of them since I’ve started almost 5 years ago.  Connie LaCroix, Hanmer, ON

The Big Shot's a time saver and more precise than hand-cutting.  Customers groan with dismay when they have to "hand cut" an image with scissors like we did in the "old days"!  Lorna Petzel, Oxbow, SK

Use the Big Shot in a class/club/workshop so that customers can SEE and DO for themselves what the Big Shot is capable of.  Then I encourage them to host a workshop over $525 if possible so that they can get the 50% off or use the $90 of hostess benefits towards their Big Shot.  Kelly Thorstad, Point Claire, QC

If they already own another die-cutting machine, I tend to show them the Stampin’ Up exclusive dies that only fit in the Big Shot (and now the magnetic plate!) I have had 3 customers sell their other die-cutting machine to buy a Big Shot!  Michelle Sturgeon, Long Sault, ON

The multiple things you can put through it.  From fabric to felt to paper, (chipboard, cork, magnet sheets, vinyl) etc.  It is that ability that works with my ladies.  Christy Harsch, Wetaskiwin, AB

It's all about creating wow projects quick and effortlessly.  The way I sell big shots is to use the big shot all the time in all my events. Even beginner classes.  Genevieve Ko, Markham, ON

They love the embossing!!! It's quick and easy and adds a huge WOW to their project!  I sell a lot to moms because it's easy for kids to use.  Karina Chin, Edmonton, AB

The framelit collections are a budget friendly way to create multiple cut outs and are space saving. In essence, each framelit costs about $6 versus the $23 for one punch. Once the investment is made in the Big Shot, you just keep saving money!  Lynn Johnston, Winnipeg, MB

I think telling them that there are always "new" dies and embossing folders being made for it helps a lot because it shows them that Stampin'Up is always going to be keeping up in the future ... It doesn't take very long before they are asking all kinds of questions about them.  Janice McIntyre, Spencerville, ON

Don’t forget to mention the 3 year warranty on the Big Shot!  Good luck in the Contest!
